Snow days at home with your kids can be a MommyRehab day also!
!) Stop worrying and just have fun with your kids. If you have fun they will also.I know sometimes the thought of getting the kids and yourself dresssed in all the layers and snow gear can be exhausting and the heavy winds may be worrisome. Instead If that is too much pressure for you-try filling your bathtub with snow. The kids will have a blast! Just the surprise and excitement in there eyes of you bringing snow into the house is priceless. My kids had a blast and the mess stayed in one location.
2) Make sure you wear a fierce hat. My hat definitely made me feel strong enough this weekend to take on three kids in the house for snow days.
3) If you drink Matcha Tea mixed with Yogi Calming Tea you have a perfect mix of energy and calm. Moms, I know you understand that necessity.
4) Make yourself a lunch that no one else will want to take a bite from. Somehow every time I make my kids lunch , they end up eating mine. I have become really savvy at knowing how to make myself something that will remain on my plate! My Pizza - No kids Allowed.
5) Finally, Do one thing for yourself. Maybe your kids can learn something about you while you are home all day together. You can play games, play in the snow, make them lunch. But you can also show them who you are. My hobby is painting and this is the start of my new project. I love that my kids are getting to know me.
